Tomorrow is Chicago’s quarterly Mayor’s Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting. My daughter’s school day was extended to 27 hours a day this year (thanks Rahm!) so I didn’t think I’d be able to attend these seasonal meeting any longer but then, the teachers union voted to extend our summer vacation by way of striking so it looks like I’ll be able to eek out at least one more this year.
If you’re heading downtown for the teacher’s rally tomorrow (and you absolutely should be), swing on in to city hall before it gets stormed by protesters and check out what’s going on with bicycling in the city.
What: Mayor’s Bicycle Advisory Council (MBAC) Meeting*
When: Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle Street, Room 1103
The September agenda will be provided at the meeting. The June MBAC meeting minutes are available on the Bike 2015 Plan website:http://www.bike2015plan.org/mbac/index.html
